Year: 2007 (80th) Academy Awards
Category: Sound Mixing
Film Title: The Bourne Ultimatum
Winner: Scott Millan, David Parker and Kirk Francis
Presenter: Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen
Date & Venue: February 24, 2008; Kodak Theatre
SCOTT MILLAN:
Would it be all right to kiss Halle Berry now? We'd like to thank the Academy certainly, and Per and Karen just thanked principally everybody: Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley, our director Paul Greengrass, Chris Rouse our picture editor, everybody at Universal. Per and Karen, of course. Everybody at Todd-AO, our team there.
And I'd like to add one thing in a kind of a somber note. This last week we lost a colleague and a friend who was also a member of the Board of Governors here at the Academy. His name is Paul Huntsman. And I'd like to dedicate this to Paul. So, thank you very much.
DAVID PARKER:
Just want to thank everybody who worked on the sound for the film and thanks to the Academy. Thank you very much.
[Ed. note: In making the award presentation, Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen argued over which one of them got to be Halle Berry. Per Hallberg and Karen Baker Landers had just won for Sound Editing on the same film.]
