ROBERT HUDSON:
We did it. I don't know about many of you, but I've been sitting in a bathtub since I was eight years old practicing this Oscar speech. And it never quite stayed the same.

First off, I want to thank the Academy of Motion Pictures for this award we both got. Bob and I live together and we work together. If you're watching this on TV, don't try that at home. He directs, I produce. I want to first start off by thanking HBO, for their knowledge of documentaries for fifteen, twenty years has really brought it to the forefront now. I want to thank Chris Albrecht, Dolores Morris, Sheila Nevins. And together with this last film, we had a new partner to work with HBO with: Southern Poverty Law Center.
